Sedum 'Matrona'
As tough, reliable and upright as Sedum 'Autumn Joy', but with a nice, darker variation in color.
"Strong, shiny red stems hold large, pale pink flower heads which last well into the fall season. Surrounded by deep gray foliage and noted for its strong, erect purple stems. 'Matrona' was a chance seedling found by Ewald Hügin of Freiburg, Germany. Butterflies can't get enough of this one. Simply outstanding! International Stauden Union (ISU) Plant of the Year for 2000."
