Salix 'Flame' Willow
'Flame' willow is tough, adaptable, and highly ornamental in winter with its orange furrowed stems which adds contrast to the grays and browns of winter. Prune to one foot in early spring for flushing stems to reach six to eight feet in a few months. This willow is aggressive and spreading and should be used with this fact in mind.
