Acer rubrum 'Red Sunset' Red Maple

'Red Sunset' has strong wood and is a fast-grower. Leaves retain an attractive high gloss throughout the growing season. It's known as one of the best red maple cultivars. Winter buds, flowers in the spring, and winged summer fruits are all a deep red color. In the fall it shows a spectacular red and orange blend of leaves to give a sunset effect.
