Cercis canadensis 'Ruby Falls' Weeping Redbud

Eastern redbud is (usually) a multi- stemmed understory tree with striking pink flowers, followed by rounded, heart-shaped leaves. After flowering, legume seed pods appear and persist through winter. Redbuds are typically found in woodlands and thickets and on limestone soils along streams and creeks.

'Ruby Falls' is the first purple leaved weeping redbud. It forms a dense rounded crown with irregular and pendulous branches.  It can be staked to grow to 10'.
