In May 'Fire Witch'' sends up numerous fragrant, magenta carnation flowers above stiff, grass-like, blue gray foliage. Use in the front border and plant in well drained soil. Cheddar pinks will re bloom if deadheaded. Enjoys a slightly alkaline soil.
